Miracast Player is a free screen casting application developed for Android devices.
Miracast Player is designed to support screen casting between different Android devices, whether they're smartphones or tablets. The device that runs the application will use a WiFi display sink that allows it to connect to another Android device using the "Cast Screen" feature. To use this app, follow a few easy steps:
1. Boot up the Miracast Player app on the first Android device. The app will show a device name.
2. Boot up the second Android device. Go to Settings, then Display, then Cast Screen.
3. Wait for the name of the first device to pop up in the second device's options box.
4. Click on the device name to connect the two.
Once the connection is established, both devices will view the same screen and be able to access the same apps and tools.
The app has a few known issues that the developers are working to fix. Currently HDCP isn't supported, and some devices might automatically enforce HDCP encryption. There are also sometimes connection issues with the establishment of a connection between the devices. This can usually be solved by rebooting the devices or resetting the WiFi.
